Centro ABEM Crisis

Dear Friends,

You or some of your church family, may have personally visited Centro ABEM, the ABWE ministry center in Nicaragua; or you have heard through our newsletters over the past 7 years how the Centro ABEM has helped the Nicaraguan churches and that is why we are reaching out to you now.

Due to the socio-political crisis that continues in Nicaragua, the ABWE Ministry Center is in crisis. The crisis has had enormous economic and practical impact throughout the country - on our partner churches and on the ministries of Centro ABEM - but also provides a great opportunity for the gospel.

Our team is working together to raise the $48,000 that is needed to maintain Centro ABEM and run our training and evangelism ministries for the next 6 months.

The IMPACT of the ABWE Ministry Center:

  • Last year over 20,000 people attended evangelistic events, retreats and camps
  • Last year over 8,000 campers attended our camp programs and over 1,000 accepted Christ!
  • Serves as a hub for the Institute of Church Planters where pastors come each month for training and encouraging interaction with each other.
  • Over 100 short term teams have been housed at the ABWE Ministry Center in the past 12 years.
  • Serves local churches by providing a location for baptisms, retreats, church picnics, etc.

We are asking you to pray and consider giving a special gift so that Nicaraguan pastors can continue to receive theological and practical church plant training, and thousands of youth can learn of the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
