“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14

Sunday morning, I went outside in our backyard to put down some "ant killer" because we wanted to leave our dog back there.  While I was doing that, about 100 ants started crawling up my left leg and they were biting me but I didn't feel it right away.  It wasn't until I looked down, started to panic, ran for the hose to get them off, that I started feeling the stinging.  Oh my word!!!!!  It was so painful and so itchy!!! But the itching didn't just stay on my left foot - I had an allergic reaction and within the hour my entire body was covered with welts and hives that itched terribly.  It was extremely uncomfortable to even sit down.  Needless to say, someone else can kill the ants in the backyard.

What does this have to do with children, you ask?  As I was sitting there miserably scratching all over, I was thinking, what if I was as poor as some of these kids who we work with?  They can't just run out and get some Benadryl.  They don't just call their friend and run over and borrow some medicine.  No, they suffer.  How many times do I whine and complain because I am not "comfortable"?  Working with the children in Nicaragua has made me realize how good I have it, how blessed I am.  We want to give to these kids, but we can't without your financial partnership.  Please pray with us that God would help us raise the $400 a month that we are still running short.  Please pray about what part God would have you play in meeting the needs of the children in Nicaragua.

Super thankful to a precious individual who increased their giving by $20!!  Thank you so much!! EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!!
