Prayer Letter July/August 2010

Our Annual Lloyd/Holsinger Family ReunionOur Annual Lloyd/Holsinger Family Reunion Time flies when you are busy and these past 2 months have just flown by!!  It is awesome to see God working in our lives, making us more like Him.  Knowing that every situation has been sifted through His hands gives peace, hope, and security.  We are so thankful that He is in control, and that HIS timing is perfect.

July and August in a nutshell: (Please see our photo album - Summer Fun)

July - still moving in, lots of swimming, working diligently on pre-field assignments, getting together with friends, traveling to Chebanse, IL to Jen's cousin's graduation party, and how could we forget - Our 15 year Anniversary!!

August - Lloyd/Holsinger family reunion, visiting family and friends in Atlanta, more swimming, UPWARD flag football, UPWARD cheerleading, meeting with potential financial partners, small group, and Faircreek Church Missions emphasis Sunday.

What does September look like?  Two churches are scheduled, Sept. 12th at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, and Sept. 19th Fayette Bible Church.  Co-op has started for the kids for the next 10 weeks, we continue UPWARD flag football, and UPWARD cheerleading.  We are persistent in scheduling meetings with potential financial partners and we are so thankful for God's divine appointments.

As we mentioned in our previous prayer letters, the Institute of Church Planters at the ABWE ministry center is training lay men to be pastors and start new churches.  Donations are needed to fund scholarships for these men.  Each scholarship is $50 and will cover the cost of the 2 year program.

Also, the ABWE ministry center is working to build an open air gym on the property.   This facility will not only provide a place out of the sun/rain for activities but also allow us to host groups larger than 200 for conferences, evangelistic outreaches, etc.  To complete phase one, $200,000 is needed.  Please contact us if you would like to give to one of these ministries.

Our monthly support level is 48% and our O & P is 71%.  We are so incredibly thankful for prayer support and financial partnerships.  We know that God is working in the hearts of His people.  We are excited to share the gospel with the people in Nicaragua and we are closer to getting there because of your support!! Thank you!!  Our next goal is to be at 85% by the end of January so we can attend more training at ABWE.  If we do not reach this goal - we will have to wait until  November 2011 for the training to be offered again.

Will you please pray that we will be faithful to contact individuals and churches?  Also, please pray for others on our team raising support: The Doyle family, the Lang family and Andrea Clark.

We are praying Eph 1:15-21 for you:  15For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

We appreciate your faithful prayers and support and we pray God’s continued blessing on each one of you!

Mark, Jen, Andy, Gabe, Ben, and Julia
